Jana Nayagan is the last movie of Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay before he completes his politics with full-time politics by joining his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). A political action thriller under the guidance of H. Vinoth (of Valimai fame) is an amalgamation of high-speed drama, mass appeal and social commentary that highlighted Vijay as a leader of the people against corruption and power abuses. Directed by KVN Productions, it also sees the collaboration of Vijay with composer Anirudh Ravichander (Master, Leo), in addition to throbbing music during the hype of the swan song of Vijay.
