Jai Bhim Plot Summary
It follows a poor Adivasi couple of Tamil Nadu, Senggeni (Rajisha Vijayan) and her partner Rajakannu (Ravi Rathod). Rajakannu takes himself to the medical facility with complaints of back pain but finds himself in the police cells. He is acting in a mysterious way, disappearing and leaving Senggeni desperate. A human rights lawyer known as Chandru (Suriya) has her case pro bono. Sifting through the mess Chandru discovers a culture of systemic police torture and corruption against the tribals. The movie culminates in fiery legal conflicts which reveal caste horrors. Jai Bhim, basing on true events that are inspired by the life of Justice K.
